Fall temperatures in August? Are you for real? Well, yes! WE are going to be dealing with fall like temperatures in late august. ITs acutally not that unusual becuase were almost to the meteorlogical start of fall which starts on September 1st. The TRUE startof fall starts on September 15th. Now this fall temperatures is due to a BLAST of cold air coming down from Canada and going all the way down to florida, which is highly unusual for the southeast to have a front go all the way down into the southeast in August. We will have temperature in the Northeast on Monday and Tuesday around the upper 60′s to lower 70′s. THis will feel like the beginning of fall. In the southeast temperatures will be in the lower 70′s in the carolinas around Greenville-Spartanburg, Charlotte, Greensboro,Asheville,Atlanta, etc. This is going to be a huge relief becuase it has been mugy and humid in the southeast this past week. Some might want to wear a jacket to school or work early next week. PLease stay tuned for our tropical update, with a possible tropical storm forming near africa later this weekend. Have a wonderful weekend!
Sencerely,
Miller Hyatt
Despite the talk of the tropical storm moving up the coast all of the models are now leaning towards having the storm remain off the coast. However heavy rain is still likely from washington to Philidelphia. 1-3 inches of rain from the tropical storms rain enchancements and the coming cold front will bring further rain. Cooler air will move in over the next 3 days. Temperatures will only be around the upper 60′s for highs. We will continuie to keep you updated on this upcoming storm.
Hello! Im Miller Hyatt the new meteoroligist at Weather Advance Storm Center. I would like everyone to love the weather on this continent because it is awesome! I would like to start by making a post on the upcoming Elnino in the United States, well its already here, but we dont know if it will strengthen into a moderate, strong or weak elnino. We will be discussing this possbility on this website and on youtube on our videos.
Here are the possibilitys:
Weak to moderate Elnino- What will this mean? Well, this will mean that the northeast will not have as much warm air as if we had a strong elnino. This is a good scenario if you love the cold and sepcially snow! Im a snow and cold lover myself and i would like this or a weak moderate event to occur, becuase i live in the southeast and It snows here too. So, thats all for now for this scenario, if you would like to comment or ad on to this scenerio please do so.
Moderate to Strong Elnino- What will this mean? Well, this will mean the amplified jetstream will be in the southeast bringing them more cooler and wetter periods while to northeast gets more warm and somewhat dry conditions. If you like cold and snow, this doesnt mean their wont be snow and cold, its just that in this scenario it wont bring as much of it.
So, these are the possibilitys and I hope you are ready for this winter, becuase it could be a good one if you live on the eastern us. Have a great week!

Bill now looks as if it will remain off shore with little impact to land. The Only Area That is advised to keep an eye on Bill is Bermuda. The Storm Should pass just 85-100 miles West of the Island. Ana still has a chance to re-develop as it pushes into the Gulf of Mexico. But chances of that actually happening are slim. More information on the tropics is in This weeks REGIONAL VIEWPOINT FORECAST.
LOCALLY
The heat and humidity will come to an end soon, with a strong cold front pushing towards the area. Temperatures will be much cooler than average. All of that and a little more will be in this weeks regional viewpoint forecast bellow!
