Taken from http://www.bcsouthweather.com/SeWA.php?page=Details_on_Wednesday_Storm_for_Pacific_Northwest_1326770721

Around 10-12 am Wednesday (January 18) will bring heavy snow to areas likeĀ  Bellingham, Seattle and Abbotsford. Strong winds will accompany the system, with gusts up to 80 km/h in Vancouver, Nanaimo, Bellingham, and Abbotsford.

Heavy snow and strong winds may create whiteout conditions. Cold temperatures and strong winds will create wind chill near the minus teens.

Snowfall amounts:

Vancouver, few flurries
Abbotsford: 15-30 cm
Victoria: 5-15 cm or more
Bellingham: up to 30 cm or more

Seattle: 20-30 cm

The Rockies will receive significant snowfall, possibly nearing 40-50 cm in certain places.

Seattle will likely see a messy mix or snow. Freezing rain may also occur.

Heavy rain will occur for Southern, low elevation areas of Pacific Northwest
